“Who is out of the room?”

A question asked many times throughout the day by teachers everywhere!

“Can I go to the restroom?”

Yes. No, wait let me see….”Students, is anyone at the restroom right now?”

Well, with the use of this innovative idea, the above will no longer be questions that you have to ask!

When a student needs to leave the classroom, for whatever reason it may be, he/she flips the switch on.

This way the teacher knows not to give permission to another boy/girl to leave the classroom until the switch is off.

It is also the PERFECT way for students to handle this classroom management tool on their own. There would be no use in asking the teacher to leave (unless it is an emergency, of course) until the switch is off.

*This enLIGHTening idea was seen in Mr. Gentry’s room at Charlotte Anderson Preparatory Academy in Mansfield.*
