Black History Month Biographies: Set 2

This resource is a hands-on way to learn about some of the most important individuals in our history! All included resources are provided in printable (both lined and blank) and digital versions.

This Black History Month Biographies set includes the following individuals:

1.) George W. Carver

2.) Edna Lewis
3.) Benjamin Banneker
4.) Michael Jordan
5.) Bessie Coleman

6.) Wilma Rudolph

There are 8 printable pages and 3 digital pages provided for each person being taught/learned about.

*The first page for each famous individual allows the students to draw a picture of the person they have chosen/been assigned.

The other details will be filled out after the quick lesson by the teacher, students being given the fact sheet, or students researching the information.

Quote Page:

*For the quote page, I have provided a famous quote by that person on one of the pages, and if you choose the OPTIONAL second page, the student will research a quote from that person by him/herself.

*Lined, blank, and digital copies for each famous person.

*The quote page has a picture for the student to color the individual.

*Coloring page with quote from each person included in this bundle.

How you can incorporate it into your classroom:

*You can assign or have your students choose ONE person, and then share what they learned with their group/class. OR… you can assign the whole resource at once. This way students can have the whole month of February (Black History Month) to complete it.

*If your students will be completing it as a book, there is a project cover page provided as well.
