This Perimeter and Area Test Prep Stations resource includes 25+ pages and 8 different activities/stations. All the activities/pages in this resource are standards based and STAAR aligned. Stations:

*Perimeter and Area- Find the missing lengths- black & white, colored, and DIGITAL versions included. Answer Key included.

*Extension page for finding the missing lengths where students create their own problems.

GAME:

*Area and Perimeter Spin and Flip- This is a partner or small group game. All you need is a set of playing cards and a paper clip for the spinner. Many of the aspects of area and perimeter are in this activity. Figuring out the actual area or perimeter and then finding the difference to see who the winner of that round it. (2) Versions of this game are included. One with 5 rounds, and one with 10 rounds.

*4.5D Task Cards that include questions that are standards based and STAAR aligned. There is a hard copy and digital version of these cards. This station would provide for great group conversations afterwards when the teacher is going over them. Answer Key provided.

ACTIVITY:

*Area and Perimeter Sort- Students will sort the scenarios deciding if it would take area or perimeter to solve the problem. Hard Copy and DIGITAL copies are included as well as an answer key.

GAME:

*Perimeter Spin and Draw- Students will work with a partner or a small group for this station/activity. Player One would spin and get a perimeter measurement. All players would draw a shape that would have that perimeter. This one is interactive and so important! Hard copy version only.
