Description

This Red Ribbon Week 2026 Activities Resource is PLANNED for you! Make Red Ribbon Week meaningful, engaging, and easy to implement with this comprehensive 5-day Red Ribbon Week 2026 activity pack! Designed around the 2026 theme “Make a Difference. Be a Hero. Stay Drug Free.”, this resource goes beyond simple coloring sheets and dress-up days. Students participate in meaningful SEL lessons, partner games, scenario-based activities, art projects, goal setting, healthy-choice activities, drug-free pledges, puzzles, directed drawings, and reflections that help them understand what it really means to make safe, healthy, and responsible choices.

Focus:

The week focuses on helping students understand that being a “hero” doesn’t require a cape or superpowers. Everyday heroes show courage, kindness, responsibility, leadership, and good decision-making. Students explore how their choices can positively affect themselves, their friends, their school, and their future.

The resource includes weekly objectives addressing healthy choices, peer pressure, safe and unsafe decisions, assertively saying “no,” trusted adults, managing emotions, future goals, and making a positive difference.

5 Themed Days

Each day includes a fun dress-up theme that can be paired with classroom lessons and activities:

DAY 1 – Heroes Make Healthy Choices

Students can dress as a personal hero, community helper, historical figure, or positive role model.

2 – Team Up Against Drugs

Students can represent their favorite team, school organization, club, or activity.

3 – Your Future Is Bright

Students can wear bright colors or sunglasses while focusing on their goals and future.

4 – Be Comfortable Being Yourself

Students can wear pajamas or comfortable clothing while learning about confidence, authenticity, and resisting peer pressure.

5 – Wear Red and Stand Together

Finish the week with a schoolwide red-out celebrating unity and a commitment to healthy, drug-free choices.
