This Santa is Stuck in my Chimney writing prompt resource provides a:
-Planning Page
-Word Referents brainstorming page
-(3) different versions for the student to write the finished product on. Differentiated for younger grades and older grade levels.
-A directed drawing activity. This is the perfect addition to add to each student’s creative writing!
Put it all together and you have the PERFECT bulletin board display!
This can be used for all grade levels. For the upper grades, you would just give specific directions to produce your paper in paragraphs with topic sentences, an introduction, and a conclusion.
For the lower grades, they could brainstorm different ways, and then write a sentence or two on how he/she would get Santa unstuck from their chimney!
What a GREAT holiday activity to incorporate into the classroom!
